Two people quit a dealership
Ana ran the service drive. Dev turned the wrenches. Both of them were paid, in the end, to sell timing belts nobody needed.
The dealership model has a math problem: advisors are commissioned on what they sell, not on what the car needs. Ana got good at reading the inspection sheets and better at noticing which recommendations were real. Dev was the tech writing them, watching his honest findings get padded on the way to the customer.
They quit in the same month in 2011 and leased three bays on Manchaca Road with a plan that fit on an index card: photograph everything, price everything, and let the customer decide. No commissions on the counter. No quotas in the shop.
Fifteen years later it’s six bays and nine people, and the index card is framed in the office. The inspection report got digital; the rule didn’t change. If we show you an X-ray, it’s your X-ray.

Who’s in the bays

Ana Reyes
Co-founder · Front of house & estimates
Ana ran a dealership service drive for nine years and got tired of reading scripts about timing belts. Every estimate that leaves this shop crosses her desk first. Her rule: if we can't explain it in one plain sentence with a photo, we don't sell it.

Dev Whitlock
Co-founder · German platforms
Dev leads VW, Audi, BMW and Mercedes work. He met Ana on that same service drive, writing repair orders he didn't believe in. Now he only writes ones he does. Factory scan tools for every marque we touch.

Marisol Vega
Hybrid & EV lead
Marisol built our hybrid side from one Prius battery job in 2017 to a third of the shop's work. High-voltage certified, insulated tools and all. She'll tell you when a battery has years left in it — that conversation is free.

Terrance Cole
Volvo specialist
Terrance has worked on Volvos since 1994 — longer than some of the cars he services have existed. Red block, white block, SPA platform: he's had all of them on a lift. Ask him about PCV systems. Actually, don't. You'll be there a while.
